After suffering their first loss of the season in a tough match against Forge, Cavalry FC quickly put that setback behind them. The club struggled initially but found their rhythm in the second half, scoring two goals through Goteh Ntignee and Daan Klomp to secure the win. The Wanderers, under the new management of Vanni Sartini, continued to face challenges, unable to achieve back-to-back victories this season. Cavalry FC made two changes to their lineup from the previous match, bringing in Bradley Kamdem and Caniggia Elva for Levi Laing and Jay Herdman. The Wanderers also adjusted their squad, with Miguel Arilla and Jason Bahamboula replacing Victor Akinwale and Ryan Telfer. Early in the match, Harry Paton nearly opened the scoring for Cavalry FC with a long-range shot that just missed the target. The team maintained pressure, with Ntignee getting behind the Wanderers' defense but opting to pass instead of shooting.
